ABOVE YOU SEE THREE OF MY FAVOURITE BOOKS!! On the top left of the page you see Ripley Castle, home of the Ingilby family, and location for Flambards in the Yorkshire television series. After watching the series recently, I believe that this was the location for Mr Dermot's place, and the shed where Will's plane "Emma" was kept had the long slits in the walls, the kind you would find in a castle. (Picture from ripleycastle.co.uk) I think the steam railway featured in episode one, when Christina arrives at Flambards, may be the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway.
